Are you looking for a fun and dynamic summer work experience in New York City? Do you ever wonder why teaching in early childhood education is one of the most rewarding jobs? We are offering paid summer student internships from June 17 to August 9, 2024. Take this opportunity to learn about the impact of educating young minds and you will find out why our work days are filled with lots of laughter! Internship hours can range from 20 to 40 hours per week.

 

An ideal candidate is:

• A fluent Mandarin speaker.

• Patient and works well with children from aged 2 up to 9 years old.

• Interested in early childhood education and Mandarin immersion programs.

• Responsible, punctual and respectful of others at all times.

• College or graduate student, preferably. High school juniors or seniors may be considered.

The responsibilities and duties of the student intern may include (but not limited to):

• Supporting the classroom teachers in all aspects of lesson preparations.

• Supporting the children with their developmental needs following the guidance and supervision of a lead teacher

• Assisting the children with daily routines (e.g. snack times, washing hands, potty etc)

• Keeping a close watch and ensuring the safety of the children at all times in a gentle but steady manner. NO PHONE usage allowed.
