As a floater teaching assistant, your job responsibilities are flexible, which may include but not limited to:

​​

• Assisting in different classrooms as needed to provide extra support in both our nursery program and/or after school classes.

• Assisting children with hygiene routines (such as washing hands or potty), supervising lunch or nap times, reading story books etc.

• Teaching grownup & me Mandarin music classes (training will be provided in the initial month)

• Assisting Director in story time events both onsite and offsite. These events will involve singing songs, doing small art projects, reading storybooks etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Eligible to work in the United States

• Can speak and sing in Mandarin with standard accent

• Is comfortable singing and teaching in front of both children & grownups

• Is responsible, punctual and respectful of others at all times.

• A good team player who always shows a positive attitude, enjoys collaboration and is supportive of peers, as we value teamwork and everyone's contribution is essential to the success of our school. 

• Minimum: a Bachelor’s degree in any field; preferably in the field of any education-related field such as childhood education, music education, art or theater education etc.  

 

This is a part-time job with potential to become a full-time job.
